FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly is heading to Atlanta for the Radio Show next week, Sept. 30–Oct. 2.
He’ll be speaking at a session, “FCC Experts Talk Radio,” Oct. 1, starting at 3:30 p.m.
A release explains: “The regulatory session, featuring key FCC officials, will address public policy issues affecting radio, including AM radio revitalization, activating FM chips in mobile devices and regulatory requirements involving online public files and political advertising. Panelists include Robert Baker, Assistant Chief, Policy Division at the FCC’s Media Bureau and Peter Doyle, Chief of the Media Bureau’s Audio Division.”
The session will be moderated by NAB Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Ann Bobeck and NAB General Counsel and Executive Vice President Rick Kaplan.
O’Rielly will also participate in the Marconi Awards Dinner as an award presenter.
