Pandora integrations into the car have grown to more than 100 car models.
Pandora Chief Marketing Officer Simon Fleming-Wood says by connecting a smartphone to the car, Pandora controls shift to the dashboard, making in-car listening to personalized “as easy as listening to AM/FM.”
“Our ambition is to one day have Pandora seamlessly integrated into every model of every car,” says Fleming-Wood. Pandora estimates one-third of all new cars sold in the U.S. in 2013 will feature its Internet audio music streaming service.
To date, Pandora says it has seen 2.5 million unique activations through integrations from the 23 major automotive brands and eight aftermarket manufacturers.
