Streaming music service Pandora will celebrate its 10th birthday Sept. 9 with an ad-free day.
Dubbed by the company as “Listener Love Day,” U.S. listeners can stream music from 12 a.m. until 12 a.m. without commercial interruptions. To commemorate the event, Pandora’s musicologists have also created a 10×10 mixtape, consisting of the 10 most “Thumbed Up” songs for each of the past 10 years.
The streaming service also noted that nearly 80 million users listen on a monthly basis, and since 2005, 74 billion hours of music have been streamed on the platform. Listeners have also rated songs (thumbed up or down) over 55 billion times and created eight billion stations.
