Paul McCartney has been added to the lineup for Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, held at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Sept. 20 and 21.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, Sir Paul joins a roster featuring Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, J. Cole, Elton John, Muse, Tiësto, Chris Brown, Keith Urban, fun., Miguel, Bruno Mars, Phoenix, Zedd, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw, Ke$ha, Drake, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Benny Benassi, Queen and Adam Lambert.
This year, the festival has added the “iHeartRadio Music Festival Village” on Saturday afternoon, which will feature live performances on two stages by artists including Miley Cyrus, The Wanted, Jason Derulo, The Band Perry, Avril Lavigne, Krewella, Cher Lloyd, twenty one pilots, Pete Tong, AWOLNATION and Ne-Yo.
The Festival will broadcast live across Clear Channel radio stations in 150 markets nationwide and will air as a two-night special on The CW on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
In other company news, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Houston has announced that Breeanna Malik has been named vice president of sales. She will oversee sales operations for the six-station cluster consisting of KBME(AM), KKRW(FM), KODA(FM), KPRC(AM), KTBZ(FM), KTRH(AM).
Malik comes from the San Antonio market, where she most recently served as market president. She has also previously served as director of sales and general sales manager. In total, Malik has more than 16 years of experience in radio sales and marketing.
