Audacy Names Daniels to Cleveland Ops Position

Company now looking for his successor in Madison, Wis.

Chase Daniels headshotAudacy named Chase Daniels as operations manager for its Cleveland market, which comprises four FM stations plus an HD3 channel.

He’ll oversee content strategy, talent, operations and branding for the portfolio, succeeding Dave Popovich, who is retiring.

Daniels was operations manager of Audacy Madison; the company said it plans a search to fill that position.

The announcement was made by Tom Herschel, senior vice president and market manager for Audacy Cleveland.

Daniels joined Audacy in 2013 as PD for Indianapolis station WNTR(FM) before being promoted to operations manager of Audacy Madison’s three FM stations. Previous programming roles include Star 94 WSTR(FM) in Atlanta and 95.1 WAPE(FM) in Jacksonville.
