iHeartMedia Adds to Legal and Lobbying Team

Marventano and Morris are promoted while Pigue and Gonzalez join

iHeartMedia has named David Pigue as senior director/policy counsel and Sophia Gonzalez has been named manager of government affairs.

Pigue succeeds Dan Dukes, who is now consulting to iHeart through his own firm. Gonzalez fills a newly created position.

Also, the company’s government affairs office in Washington has promoted Jessica Marventano and Sara Morris to executive vice president and vice president of government affairs, respectively.

David Pigue advised Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, for seven years, most recently as counsel. Sophia Gonzalez most recently was deputy director of scheduling and assistant to the chief of staff for Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga. The two report to Marventano.

Marventano has led iHeartMedia’s government affairs arm since 2002 and serves on the board of the National Association of Broadcasters. Morris joined iHeart in 2015 after three decades in Hill, federal agency and private sector roles.
