Ippolito to Take Over at iHeart San Diego

She succeeds Melissa Forrest

Noreen Ippolito will take over as market president for iHeartMedia in San Diego at the end of the month.

She succeeds Melissa Forrest, who transitions to a consulting role. Ippolito will report to Tom McConnell, division president for iHeartMedia Markets Group.  

Ippolito will oversee eight stations: KGB 101.5, Rock 105.5, Channel 93.3, Star 94.1, JAMN 95.7, KOGO 600, AM 760 and Xtra 1360, plus the Riverside, Calif., cluster of Q103.3, KGGI, Radio 94.5, FOX 1350, and BIN: Black Information Network AM 1440.  

McConnell caller her “an incredible talent with an outstanding track record” who has “strong business acumen and understands how to build and cultivate high performing teams.”

She’s a University of San Diego grad who currently is senior vice president of sales for San Diego and Riverside. 

Forrest has been president of the company’s San Diego/Arizona region since 2008, according to her LinkedIn page.
