Mackensen is now the K-Love’s southeast regional engineering manager. He has worked for the Christian radio network for the last 10 years.

According to a company press release, Mackensen’s career progression from the build shop to the Network Operations Center (NOC), and then to his current engineering role, “demonstrates a deep understanding of our operations.”

K-Love said: “Alex possesses a grounded, energetic, positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to develop both himself and his team.”

Promoted after three years with K-Love, Alan Slaughter is now the company’s central region engineering manager. “His prior career experience, combined with environmental and institutional knowledge gained in his current engineering role, show a complete and practical understanding of our needs,” said K-Love in the release. “Alan is very humble and is ready and eager for this increased responsibility.”
