The National Association of Broadcasters has hired Alex Siciliano as senior communications strategist.
It’s a newly created position. Siciliano will report to Chief of Staff and Executive Vice President of Public Affairs Michelle Lehman.
“Siciliano will lead NAB’s public relations efforts on key advocacy issues, developing and implementing media relations strategies to advance broadcasters’ policy agenda before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission,” the organization announced.

Siciliano is former vice president of communications at The Petrizzo Group. Before that he worked for three Republican senators. He was deputy chief of staff for then-Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado and was Gardner’s communications director. In college he worked on the presidential campaign for Sen. John McCain of Arizona. After graduating from Regis University, he began his career in Washington working in the office of Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.
President/CEO Curtis LeGeyt said Siciliano “has years of experience in shaping and executing effective messaging campaigns on policy issues.”
