SiriusXM has announced that Jenny Tartikoff has been named senior VP and head of communications.
The move is effective Aug. 10.
Tartikoff will report to Scott Greenstein, SXM’s president and chief content officer. She will be responsible for promoting the company’s content and business narrative while serving as senior advisor to its leadership team, according to a release.
She succeeds Maggie Mitchell, who left the media company to join the AI advertising firm Morocco, according to Variety.
“As a longtime listener, I’ve experienced firsthand the thoughtful curation and authentic experiences SiriusXM creates, which makes joining the company especially meaningful,” Tartikoff said in the release.
Most recently, Tartikoff served as executive VP of global communications at Paramount Pictures, where she led communications, social responsibility and awards strategy for the studio’s live-action and animation properties.
Overall, she brings approximately 20 years of communications experience, including time at Spotify and Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.
