If so, you’ll want to check out the Museum of Broadcast Communications’ 2026 Front Row Experiences Charity Auction.
It includes approximately 50 experiences with broadcasters, actors, musicians, athletes and media personalities.
Online bidding opened Tuesday and continues through July 28 at 4 p.m. Central Time on charitybuzz.com and the Museum of Broadcast Communications’ website. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Museum of Broadcast Communications’ educational mission and preservation efforts.
TV and radio enthusiasts can enjoy experiences with WGN(TV)’s Morning News, WMAQ(TV), WBBM(TV), Svengoolie, “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” “Mojo in the Morning,” “The Breakfast Club,” Dean Richards, former WLUP(FM) host Kevin Matthews, John Williams, Lisa Dent, Jim Rome, Chris Russo, Bill O’Reilly and Chris Cuomo, among others, a release said.
Also up for bid are private lunches with actor Henry Winkler, Joe Mantegna from “Criminal Minds” and Bob Odenkirk from “Better Call Saul.”
The Chicago-based Museum of Broadcast Communications reopened last fall. Among its features are two exhibitions which the museum said are critically acclaimed: “The Evolution of Late-Night Television” and “Johnny Carson: The Centennial.”
This fall, the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation will honor the museum with its Preservation Award, recognizing the institution’s national leadership in preserving and interpreting U.S. broadcast history.
