Broadcast Electronics has named Andrew (Andy) Berry to the newly created post of chief revenue officer, where he will be responsible for all of the company’s customer-facing activities, including all global sales and service operations.
The appointment comes just one month after BE announced that it had been acquired by a U.S.-based investor group and right before it will be showing several new hardware and software products at the NAB Show.
Berry will serve as Broadcast Electronics’ first-ever chief revenue officer, where he will be charged with increasing customer satisfaction and leading the company’s growth strategy.
He previously served as Broadcast Electronics’ vice president of global service.
“Our customers are at the center of everything we do – by unifying all our customer facing efforts, we will greatly enhance our ability to both provide industry-leading products and offer a superior customer experience,” said Rich Redmond, president and CEO of Broadcast Electronics.
Earlier in his career, Berry held senior leadership roles at Nautel, BlackBerry and ResMed with a focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
Previous sales leader, Perry Priestley, will transition to retirement and will work hand-in-hand with Berry to ensure a smooth transition.
Additional moves
In addition, BE has named Stuart Peters as senior vice president of operations and Angela Holtschlag as chief financial officer.
Peters will have responsibility for all operations including purchasing, planning, manufacturing, test and logistics. He has taken on roles of increasing responsibility with BE over a 38-year career across operations, customer service and engineering.
Holtschlag will lead all finance and human resource functions at the company.
She previously held finance leadership roles with Comcast, British Petroleum and Ingersoll Rand.
