Radio World columnist Al Peterson will join WGOP(AM)in Walkersville, Md., serving the Washington area, as operations director. He will coordinate a new studio buildout in Washington and a new transmitter and tower site in Damascus, Md. He also will help behind the scenes on the syndicated “Greaseman Show.”
Peterson is technical adviser to Radio World and a continuing columnist. He will retain those duties.
