ESP has acquired SurgeX.
The latter is a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of power conditioners and surge suppressors. Electronic Systems Protection Inc. is an industry OEM. SurgeX will move operations to ESP’s Zebulon, N.C., facility.
ESP called it a strategic addition to its power protection business.
Steve Cole, president of ESP, stated, “SurgeX’s product offerings along with its position in the pro/AV market make it an ideal fit.”
