Premiere Networks’ traffic system now interfaces with Network Connect, a relatively new Marketron Mediascape service that automates the process of network schedules for radio groups.
Premiere syndicates 90 programs and services to 5,000 affiliates; it is part of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.
Network Connect was released last year. Marketron says the service minimizes network spot “makegoods” by eliminating manual entry of network orders into a station traffic system and by returning spot times electronically to the networks.
“Prior to Network Connect, orders, copy instructions and revisions related to fulfilling network contracts have been a complex process that cost radio stations an enormous amount of manpower, time and makegoods,” it stated.
The announcement was made by Premiere Networks Sr. Vice President of Sales Operations Meg Montury and Marketron President/CEO Jeff Haley.
