Audacy Partners With Disney Music Group

Adds branded “stations” to its app

Audacy has added Disney Music-branded stations to its Audacy app and lineup of digital music stations.

“This station collection featuring classic Disney songs, with playlists from jazz to sing-alongs to Disney Channel Hits, is the beginning of Disney Music offerings on the Audacy platform,” the company said, promising more later, including holiday seasonal content.

The announcement was made by Leslie Scott, vice president of digital audio content at Audacy, and Scot Finck, senior vice president of promotion for Disney Music Group. Finck said the content includes “your favorite Disney Hits, lullabies and special instrumental versions.”

Audacy’s “exclusive stations” launched in June of 2021; the company says they’re curated “by iconic Audacy brands, on-air personalities and influencers.” There are about 600 such stations on the app including those curated by performers like Lizzo, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.

The new stations are Disney Reimagined, Disney Sing Alongs, Disney 90s, Disney 10s, Disney 00s, Disney Pride, Disney Jazz, Disney en Espanol, Disney Channel Hits, Disney Hits.
