The Radio Advertising Bureau is no longer releasing revenue figures for radio each month, but will continue releasing the data via quarterly revenue reports.
As we reported at the time, the RAB moved last year to deemphasize monthly figures, simply posting them on its Web site rather than sending press releases; now it will stop reporting month-by-month numbers entirely to focus on trending data in the quarterly reports.
The change is effective immediately. Quarterly revenue reports will be released on the 21st of the month, about 7 to 8 weeks after the close of the reporting quarter.
RAB last week laid off five of its 55 employees, according to AdAge.
