The law firm Dickstein Shapiro Morin & Oshinsky will host its annual conference on “Broadcast Financing for the New Millennium: Responding to the Changing Times” on Wednesday, Sept. 5 as part of the NAB Radio Show in New Orleans.
The theme of the conference is how dramatic economic changes have and will affect radio station operations, values and acquisition financing. The firm says it expects owners, investors, lenders, media brokers and lawyers to attend.
Panelists will focus on how the radio industry can emerge from the nation’s economic slowdown and face issues like how the volatility of public markets and reduced advertising has made maintaining station income and values difficult. Presentations will include: “The Changing Face of Radio,” “Radio Strategies in Volatile Times” and “Changing Financial Parameters.”
