Radio One and Nash to Merge

Radio One, Inc. said it intends to acquire Nash Communications Corporation for approximately $5 million in cash and stock.
Nash owns and operates Boston’s WILD(AM), an urban formatted station.
Bernadine Nash, president of Nash Communications, will join Radio One to manage its Boston stations.
Radio One has programmed WILD(AM) since May 2000, under a time brokerage agreement.
