Radio Stations Sold in Colorado

Cleveland Disney AM sale closed

Colorado seems to have a busy radio station sales scene these days.

In Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Television purchased the assets of KRDO(FM) from Optima Communications for $2.5 million. In Vail, Always Mountain Time has purchased the assets of KKVM(FM) from Vail Radio Partners for $315,000. Jody McCoy of Media Services Group in Colorado Springs was the seller’s broker for both transactions.

Following up on two recently reported transactions, the sale of the former Radio Disney property WWMK(AM) in Cleveland to St. Peter the Rock Media has closed. Greg Guy of Patrick Communications was the broker for the buyer and Bill Schutz was the broker for Radio Disney.

And Alpha Media has closed on its acquisition of four Virginia stations formerly owned by Free-Lance-Star Publishing. George Reed of Media Services Group in Jacksonville, Fla., was the seller broker.
