Rather to Emcee RTNDF Event

CBS Evening News Managing Editor/Anchor Dan Rather is slated to perform emcee duties at the Radio and Television news Directors Foundation’s 13th Annual First Amendment Dinner. The event is scheduled for March 6 in Washington to honor a trio of people for their work on behalf of press freedom.
Floyd Abrams, a First Amendment attorney; Judy Woodruff, CNN prime anchor and senior correspondent; and Susan Zirinsky, executive producer of CBS’ 48 hours are the honorees. Evening sponsors include The Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation and the Mel Karmazin Foundation.
