Westwood One said it has now deployed RealTraffic on 200 local Web sites of media and DOT clients.
The online interactive traffic service was developed with Maptuit, a company that provides location information Web services to transportation, tracking and traffic clients.
RealTraffic is a digital application that integrates into Web sites so visitors can find out about traffic incidents that affect their commutes.
The service has added new APIs for navigation devices and mobile, fleet and Web services; RealTraffic 2.0 includes live traffic maps, KeyRoute travel times, driving directions integrated with live traffic reports, trip delays andalternate routes, MyCommute personal traffic pages and e-mail and mobile alerts.
