Continental has sold its third 816HD-25, 25 kW analog+HD system. It will go to Regent Communications station KSII(FM) in El Paso, Texas.
The analog TPO of the KSII system will be 25 kW.
“The 816HD-25 utilizes the new Eimac 4CX25000C Tetrode designed for high-power FM+HD,” the supplier stated. “The 816HD-25 has been tested to 28.5 kW, with adequate RF headroom for normal operation.”
The first two 816HD-25 systems are to be delivered to Clear Channel’s KESZ in Phoenix and Univision’s KLQV in San Diego and are scheduled to ship within the next few weeks.
