Revo Technologies Ltd. launched the bLik RadioStation, a hybrid digital radio.

The Scottish company said the introduction is important because this is the first product that combines a DAB/DAB+ digital radio, Wi-Fi Internet radio and traditional FM radio in one unit.

"bLik RadioStation is also significant for being the first commercially available radio that provides plug-and-play reception of both existing DAB and new DAB+ broadcasts," it stated.

The product is the result of a collaboration with Frontier Silicon; it uses the Frontier multistandard Venice 6 audio module.

Revo is also offering two other models in the bLik line, a DAB/FM version, and a Wi-Fi Internet radio/FM model. Radios are designed in the U.K. and assembled in Asia.
