Salem Inks Bill Bennett

Bill Bennett will host a national morning talk radio show on the Salem Radio Network.
Bennett is the former U.S. secretary of education. He starts April 5. His co-host and executive producer is Tom Tradup, former president/general manager at WLS(AM-FM) in Chicago.
Recalling a catch phrase from the Reagan years, the program will be called “Bill Bennett’s ‘Morning in America.’” It will be based in Washington and feed via SRN in Dallas.
“Introducing a new, national morning show substantively strengthens our news/talk format,” said Salem CEO Edward G. Atsinger III.
