Jefferson-Pilot Communications named Eric Schecter to oversee engineering at its San Diego cluster, KSON-AM/FM, KSOQ-FM, KIFM-FM and KBZT-FM. He will report to Darrel Goodin, VP/General Manager of JPCC Radio/San Diego.
A 1979 graduate of the University of Arizona, Schecter was Phoenix engineering manager
for AM/FM Inc., then went to Infinity as Engineering Manager for three Phoenix stations.
Tom Giglio, VP/Engineering for JPCC Radio, said Schecter “has the perfect blend of technical ability and management skills that will prove to be a solid asset to our San Diego operations.” He begins duties March 7.
