Senate Commerce Passes Martin Renomination

The Senate Commerce Committee has passed and sent to the full Senate the renomination of Kevin Martin as FCC chairman and the nomination of John Kneuer as head of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
The FCC is reviewing all media ownership rules, including local radio ownership limits and the ban on newspaper-broadcast cross-ownership in one market.
