Scott Shannon has added his own iHeartMedia channel to his current duties.
The WCBS DJ and syndicated host is now heading up a streaming “Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel.”
The channel was available at Westwood One and Cumulus Media stations, and has been ported to iHeartMedia. It’s also available via Google, Apple and iNetRadio apps. Here’s the website.
The True Oldies Channel focuses on 1960s and 1970s pop tunes with a little 1950s and 1980s tossed in for variety. And, no, Shannon doesn’t personally man the stream 24/7. He has some help.
