GatesAir is using the IBC Show to expand overseas the service that it says gives broadcasters a reliable option for outsourcing engineering support.

The company’s AirWatch365 continuous NOC-based monitoring will now connect to DAB/DAB+ transmitters, making it available to customers in Europe and the United Kingdom as of the Sept. 12–15 IBC Show in Amsterdam. GatesAir plans to include other international regions in 2026.
As the service expands beyond North America, its in-house personnel will collaborate with its in-country channel partners, the company said. GatesAir has approximately 85 global channel partners.
At this year’s NAB Show, GatesAir introduced AirWatch365 to outsource support and maintenance for radio and TV stations “as the industry’s base of RF engineering resources shrink.” It monitors transmitter performance, analyzes RF conditions and responds to issues that affect experience and uptime.

Additionally, GatesAir said that the service’s continuous monitoring expands the capabilities of the AI used within its infrastructure, which can provide predictive analysis and detect potential future RF problems.
The service is available through its broader GatesAir Care program. AirWatch365 can be purchased as a standalone solution or added to three GatesAir Care service level agreements. They include on-site preventive maintenance plans, installation, commissioning and on-site technical support for major broadcast events.
AirWatch365 will be presented through visual demonstrations at GatesAir’s IBC Show booth.
