The MaxxKonnect Group is partnering with RadioInsight, Radio World, Beasley Media Group and SurferNetwork in creating the station, which will begin streaming on April 1 and then be heard on the FM dial in Las Vegas on Beasley 96.3 KKLZ-HD2 starting April 10 and throughout the convention.

The project is the brainchild of MaxxKonnect President Josh Bohn. The station program director is veteran air personality Isis M. Jones, who hosts “Room1420” on YouTube and Facebook. Chris Roth, MaxxKonnect’s sales manager for wireless & connectivity products, will handle imaging and production based on his own major-market radio experience.

“MaxxRadio will be a full-service station specifically spotlighting the radio industry at the convention,” MaxxKonnect announced. “Programming will feature manufacturer and industry news and updates, as well as product information.”

Radio World Editor in Chief Paul McLane will provide daily updates from the show floor. RadioInsight Publisher Lance Venta will provide industry news and maintain the MaxxRadio website.

Guests will include Jeff Welton of Nautel giving a Transmitter Talk on Tuesday; Kirk Harnack of TWiRT; and other guests. Featured content will be available in podcast form on the website during and after the show.

At the show, MaxxRadio will broadcast from the MaxxKonnect booth in the West Hall, W2849. The company invited anyone interested in contributing relevant content at no charge to drop them an email.
