The call for technical papers and panels is officially open for the 2027 National Association of Broadcasters Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference.
The BEIT Conference is part of the NAB Show, scheduled for April 4–7, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
According to organizers, the conference aims to bring together media technologists, broadcast engineers, IT developers and researchers to explore emerging technologies across radio, television, streaming and the broader media landscape.
Proposals must be submitted online by Oct. 23. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered, and accepted presenters will be notified by Dec. 15. Papers selected for presentation will also be published in the official Proceedings of the 2027 NAB BEIT Conference in April.
In partnership with the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, graduate and undergraduate students aged 18 and older are also invited to submit papers. Student submissions will be reviewed alongside professional entries, with the author of the winning student paper presenting at the BEIT conference, receiving travel assistance and being recognized at the BEIT Opening Session.
The deadline for student submissions is also Oct. 23.
