The NAB Show New York will again be held at the Javits Center this month.
Its conferences take place Tuesday Oct. 20 to Thursday Oct. 22, with the exhibits open on Wednesday and Thursday.

The show promises to explore “AI, creators, streaming, sports and broadcasting alongside the technologies and business strategies shaping the future of media.”
The list of 200+ exhibitors includes names familiar in radio including AWS, Calrec, Comrex, ENCO, GatesAir, Lawo, Nautel, Orban, Radio.Cloud, RCS, Telos Alliance, Wheatstone, WideOrbit, WorldCast Systems and Xperi.
On the show floor, four theaters will offer free educational programming.
Last year’s show drew a reported 11,500 people.
The session list for 2026 is heavy with content for TV professionals. There’s a conference on “Local TV Strategies” as well as NAB Show New York Post|Production World, in partnership with Future Media Conferences, which is for editors, producers and motion designers in TV, film and video. One of the floor theaters will have a dedicated sports track.
Separately, a “SMPTE Bootcamp: Precision Timing for ST 2110” will discuss precision timing systems that keep distributed media in sync and the network mechanics that carry audio and video across IP infrastructure.
For radio, here’s what stands out:
Marconi Awards

Among notable categories are Legendary Station of the Year; Legendary Manager; Network/Syndicated Personality; Best Radio Podcast; and College Radio Station of the Year.
Radio personalities also are awarded in various market size categories, and stations are chosen in each of 10 radio formats.
During the event, Joel Oxley will receive the NAB National Radio Award.
“Award-Winning Audio”
A Wednesday morning session takes attendees “inside the 2026 NAB Marconi Podcast finalists.”
Moderated by Andy Slater, head of partnerships at Amazon’s podcast hosting and monetization platform ART19, the session will feature creators of podcasts Like Hubbard Broadcasting’s “Purple Daily” and Cumulus Media’s “The Install with Greg Cosell.”
They’ll discuss how they found audiences and built successes in a competitive podcast landscape.
“Real-World Newsroom Results”
A Wednesday afternoon session offers highlights from NAB’s Google AI Training.
“Learn how broadcasters are applying Google AI tools following NAB’s Google News Initiative training program,” organizers stated.
That training was offered to NAB members and was conducted virtually this summer.
“Participants will share practical workflow learnings for deep research, document analysis, information integrity and building more resilient newsrooms, while discussing how AI can strengthen journalism, improve daily operations and better serve audiences across broadcast and digital platforms.”
Sports betting
A session called “The Future of Sports Betting: Growth, Media & Responsibility” takes place Wednesday afternoon.
Christian Genetski is president of FanDuel, while Craig Carton of WFAN in New York is an award-winning sports broadcaster and “Responsible Gaming Ambassador” for FanDuel as well as an inductee of the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
They plan to talk about the convergence of betting and media, the changing regulatory landscape, the future of fan engagement and the industry’s responsibility to address problem gambling.
Future of media
Show organizers say that as legacy business models come under pressure and investors demand greater focus, media companies are rethinking their portfolios through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and spin-offs.
What are the implications of this trend for audiences, advertisers and investors? The question will be explored on Wednesday in “The Future of Media: Consolidation or Spin-Off?”
It will be moderated by media and sports reporter Alex Sherman of CNBC. Among those speaking is Jessica Reif Ehrlich, managing director and senior media and entertainment analyst at BofA Securities,
