Signal Media Ups Acri to GM in Arkansas

President/CEO also announced several other appointments

Signal Media of Arkansas has promoted KABZ(FM) Program Director Justin Acri to general manager.

He replaces Signal Media President/CEO Steve Jonsson, who previously also held that title for the sports radio station and called the promotion “the next logical step in the evolution of this” station, according to the press release.

Acri also serves as co-host of “The Zone.” He started as a part time morning show host in 2003, and in 2006 left his job at KATV to work full time as PD and on-air personality at Signal Media.

Jonsson also announced KABZ Executive Producer Derrell Young will now serve as the station’s operations manager, and Morning Show Producer RJ Hawk has added the role of social media director. Additionally, alumna Lindy Lanford will return as a part-time consultant in marketing and events; she also owns The Bridal Cottage.

Small group owner Signal Media of Arkansas is an independently owned company consisting of KABZ(FM), KKPT(FM) and KHLR(FM), broadcasting in the Little Rock area.
