Sirius Canada Is Real

Sirius Canada has launched with 100 channels of content. It’s waiving the $20 activation fee for the first 50,000 subscribers.
The company said it had more than 7,000 requests for information from consumers via its Web site and manufacturing partners have begun shipping radios to retailers. Three entities own Sirius Canada: CBC/Radio Canada, Standard Radio, a Canadian network and Sirius Satellite Radio. Its lineup includes 10 Canadian channels.
XM Canada began service in late November.
