Sound card maker Sound4 recently announced the development of what it calls a “bridge” for interfacing with Axia Livewire and ALC NetworX Ravenna audio over IP protocols.
Sound4 Product Manager Vincent Defretin explained that Sound4 doesn’t choose sides, “We prefer to be independent … Thanks to this choice we are able to manage both standards on the same components, which is less expensive and more efficient for the customer.”
Sound4 says the Livewire/Ravenna bridge option will be available for free at the end of October and should be compatible with all Sound4 PCI express cards.
