Spanish Format Scores Big Online

Spanish became the second most popular Internet radio format for stations measured by MeasureCast during the week of Feb. 5 to 11.
Catapulting Spanish to the number two spot behind talk radio was LaMusica.com, a newcomer to the MeasureCast rankings. Its New York-based LaMega-WSKQ/97.9 was the third most-listened to station, (based on total time spent listening, or TTSL) in the weekly MeasureCast Internet Radio Top 25 List.
The other Spanish broadcaster appearing in the MeasureCast Top 25 list is Morfeo, whose Onda Cero Internet-only station moved up a notch this week into the 24th spot.
WABCM/77, the New York ABC Radio Networks news talk station, was once again the top station and listener-formatted MEDIAmazing held onto the second place in the weekly Internet ratings.
