Staco Energy Products Co. is promoting its automatic voltage regulator, a modular power conditioning system based on a series regulation transformer controlled by variable transformers.
According to the company, voltage regulation problems account for more than 90 percent of the power problems at most sites. The voltage regulator is designed to provide protection against voltage swings.
The system offers tight output regulation, robust design and easy customization, the company said. Features include a high overload/inrush rating, continuous voltage regulation rather than step regulation, redundant manual regulation control, and front-panel access for service and installation.
