The freeze imposed on filing new applications for station transactions and construction permits is over now that the FCC has new forms ready. The FCC had to create new forms 301, 314 and 315s after it passed new media ownership rules. The commission was awaiting approval of the new forms from the Office of Management and Budget.
The revised forms are available from the Media Bureau’s Consolidated Database System: http://www.fcc.gov/mb/elecfile.html. Electronic filing is mandatory for these three forms.
All previous editions of FCC Forms 301, 314, and 315 are obsolete and may not be used.
Parties may now amend their pending applications electronically to demonstrate compliance with the new rules using the revised Forms 301, 314 and 315.
