Studio Technologies recently added the Model 233 to its Model 200 series of announcer’s consoles.
The company says the compact unit incorporates several user-requested features, and supports specialized applications, including stadium announcement and live event production. New features include an integrated side tone section, two line-level audio talkback outputs, two line-level audio inputs, dual-channel intercom interface and a tally output.
A microprocessor provides the Model 233’s logic power, allowing for precise control of unit operation. A microphone preamplifier circuit provides low-noise/low-distortion amplification across a 20 dB to 60 dB gain range.
The Model 233 contains two pushbutton switches that control the talkback functions. Associated with each pushbutton switch is a dedicated line-level talkback output.
