There was a great plug for 5.1 surround sound on “Larry King Live” last night on CNN.
In a segment promoting “LOVE,” a Cirque du Soleil show based on the Beatles’ music, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney told Larry that their old music mixes used to make Ringo’s drums sound “muddy,” and that the surround sound used in the show at The Mirage in Las Vegas make their music sound better.
They didn’t mention whose technology it was; that would be good to know, if someone can tell me.
