
KLPX(FM), a Lotus Communications in Tucson, teamed up with the Tucson Area Marine Moms for a drive to collect socks for soldiers stationed overseas.
The campaign gathered over 2,000, an increase of over 700 pairs a release said. Sponsors helping collect the socks included: Tucson-area Brake Masters, Miller’s Surplus, as well as Glenn Jones Ford Casa Grande.
KLPX General Manager Steve Groesbeck said, “It’s very rewarding to work with TAMMS, our community and our sponsors to help the men and women in uniform overseas.”
Lotus Tucson consists of KLPX, KFMA(FM), KCMT(FM) and KTKT(AM).
