Tascam Releases CD-RW740 CD Recorder

New from Tascam is the rack-mountable CD-RW750 CD recorder for studio recording and installation markets.
The company says it retains features of its predecessor the CD-RW700, such as unbalanced I/O and S/PDIF digital I/O in optical and coax formats. It also has 24-bit digital converters, CD-R and CD-RW support, and has added CD Text, A-B Repeat and Single Playback features. A RAM buffer provides skip-free playback; digital fade-in and fade-out from 3 to 30 seconds is offered.
The CD-RW750’s monitor section enables the unit to be used as a standalone A/D converter or sample rate converter without requiring a blank disc in the tray.
