TC Electronic Launches Helicon Vocal Technologies

TC Electronic announced the formation of Helicon Vocal Technologies Inc, which a joint venture of Canadian IVL and Danish TC Electronic. The company is designed to provide special quality solutions and tools for vocal processing.
Equipment manufactured under the Helicon company name will be marketed through the TC Electronic international sales and distribution channels and will draw on the algorithms, technology and expertise of both TC Electronic A/S and IVL Technologies Ltd.
The first product will be released in the third quarter of 2000 and is a voice formant and pitch processor targeted at the performing and recording musician.
Helicon Vocal Technologies is based in Victoria, Canada, and is seeking talented software and hardware audio engineers to join the team made up of engineers from both TC and IVL.
