Linear Acoustic, a processor manufacturer active in the TV market, is becoming part of the company, joining Telos Systems, Omnia Audio and Axia. Tim Carroll, president and majority owner of Linear, will remain with the firm and continue his operation in Pennsylvania.
Separately, Telos said, CBS Radio station WZLX(FM) in Boston has launched its new 5.1 surround service on its HD Radio channel and on the Internet, a project that had been announced here last year.
