Telos Ships 1,500th Hx Hybrid

POTS device serves stations with analog call-in lines

Who said POTS is dead?

Telos Systems said it has shipped 1,500 of its Hx1 and Hx2 POTS telephone hybrids since they were introduced a year ago.

Independent Radio Ltd. station Music 99FM in Kingston, Jamaica, received No. 1,500.

The company says that for broadcasters with analog call-in lines, the Hx1 and Hx2 are an “inexpensive, immediate” way to improve caller audio.

The single-line Hx1 starts at $795, the two-line Hx2 at $1,395.
