ABC News Radio will offer affiliate stations a one-hour program, “America’s Heroes — Triumph and Inspiration,” for use over the Memorial Day weekend.
The special focuses on American servicemen and -women, and rehabilitation stories that take place at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. It will be the first ABC News Radio program hosted by Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.), recently named special program host and senior analyst for ABC News Radio.
“The care and rehabilitation going on at the Brooke Army Medical Center is incredible,” said Thompson.
