Tower Family Foundation Seeks Donations Before New Year

So far in 2017, the foundation awarded $127,500 in direct financial assistance and scholarships

It’s hard to believe, but in less than two weeks we’ll switch to our 2018 calendars.

In light of that fact, the Tower Family Foundation is seeking year-end donations and reminds the wireless and broadcasting industry that charitable contributions are tax-deductible.

So far in 2017, the foundation “awarded $127,500 in direct financial assistance and scholarships,” and since its founding in September 2014, the 501(c)(3) has donated $342,500, according to the press release.

Those concerned about how funds are spent once your money has been donated will be interested to know that “an accounting firm independently calculated that over 96 cents of every dollar donated to the Tower Family Foundation goes to eligible benefactors,” as of 2017.

Additionally, donations that reach certain levels will be recognized on the foundation’s website.
