TuneIn Signs WSJ Radio Network

Free service adds its podcasts

The TuneIn Internet radio streaming service has signed a deal to deliver podcasts from The Wall Street Journal Radio Network.

The WSJ network produces business news and other news programs for 450 or so radio stations. It also distributes 23 podcasts.

The free streaming service says it has 30 million listeners and can be consumed on 150 types of devices including smartphones.

The announcement was made by TuneIn VP of Programming Kevin Straley and Executive Director Nancy Abramson of the radio network.

California-based TuneIn has venture funding from Sequoia Capital.
