German network operator Uplink Network GmbH is stocking up on its supply of transmitters, announcing a framework deal with WorldCast Systems that will see the delivery of up to 150 Ecreso FM transmitters in the first six months of 2016.
The Ecreso transmitters, which range from 100 to 10,000 W of power, will be installed across Germany following the liberalization of the German FM market. Radio Schleswig-Holstein, Radio Sachsen, Radio PSR and Radio BOB are among the networks installing the transmitters.
IP-enabled and controlled through a Web browser and SNMP, the Ecreso transmitters come equipped with a digital modulator and advanced metering interface for analysis of the RF spectrum, MXF spectrum, audio spectrum, and peak meters without external diagnostic devices.
