Broadcast equipment supplier GatesAir has chosen DAB solutions provider Viamux as its official UK Channel Partner.
According to the press release announcing the partnership, Viamux has supplied many small-scale DAB licensees with its multiplexing solution since its founding in 2017.
Talking of the partnership, David Duffy of Viamux said they are “delighted” to be working with GatesAir.
“We placed their Maxiva transmitters at the heart of our solution from day one,” said Duffy.
“Our team were particularly impressed with their reliability and how easy they were to install and configure.
“As Channel Partner, we will be a one-stop shop for GatesAir’s transmitters and technical support,” he said in the release.
GatesAir, which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary, is a manufacturer of radio and TV transmitters as well as STL and networking gear, both IP and RF. It is headquartered in Mason, Ohio, with manufacturing in Quincy, Ill., and has about 200 employees globally.
